1.Time and venue.
The Festival will be held in 5 star Baltic Beach Hotel, 23/25 Juras street, Majori, Jurmala, Latvia from June 12 (day or arrival) until June 17 (day of departure) 2010. Opening ceremony takes place on June, 13th at 15.00. The first round is on June 13th at 15.30. The last round is on June 16th at 13.00.
2.Participants
Chessplayers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Poland, the Scandinavian countries and visitors from other countries can take part in this event. Each team shall consist of 4 participants = 3 boys+1 girl, born in 1992 or younger. All participants must have category 1 or higher.
3.Tournament
Swiss system, 7 rounds in accordance with FIDE Rules. The time control is game in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
4.Prizes and awards.
The teams which take 1-3 places will be awarded with cups, diplomas and special prizes. Individual prizes will be awarded to players who take 1-3 place on each board.
5.Conditions
Teams are responsible for their transportation cost, accommodation and lodging. All chess players will be accommodated in 5 star Baltic Beach Hotel which is only 20 euro per day per person, breakfast is included. The entry fee is 50 EUR per team.
