7 rounds FIDE round robin in 4 days. The tournament is open for all players.
Kronborg Chess Tournament is named after the famous castle Kronborg Castle, located in Elsinore – the home of Hamlet.
There is a view to the castle directly from the game room which is located down to the beach on the Marienlyst Beach Hotel.
We offer an international chess tournament in great surroundings with the possibility to stay at the playing venue.

INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMANT
Kronborg Chess Open is an international chess tournament with a total prize sum of around DKK 17,000 (depending on the number of participants).
Last year, the tournament had participants from Norway, Sweden, Holland, India and of course Denmark. We are therefore looking forward to seeing many nationalities and levels together with Danish chess players. |
