The Swedish Championship is now open for foreign players. 2 hour/40 moves + 1 hour for the rest of the game. There is one tournament between July 3rd and July 9th. Players above elo 2150 plays in an open swiss tournament, and players below elo 2150 plays in round robin groups with 8 players - all with similar ratings. 21st International Chess and Games Festival, European Amateurs Championship in Chess. --- Dear chess friends, Let me invite you most cordially to the 21st CZECH OPEN Festival in Pardubice. European Youth Chess Teams Championship and European Amateurs Championship will take place during this year’s festival again. Within the optimal arrangement of playing halls the C tournament will be moved to the air-conditioned Hronovicka community center, which is situated in the city center. The E tournament will be moved to CEZ Arena, where the space for playing will be enlarged. The novelty, which we have prepared for you, is a party tent with refreshments. It will be placed next to CEZ Arena and there will be demonstration of games and their analysis, evening blitz tournaments and another accompanying programme.
