Tournament is a part of 11th International Chess Festivals Series CZECH TOUR 2011/2012. 8.-15.5. FIDE open (prize fund 30 000 CZK) 10.5. open blitz tournament 13.5. open tournament in bughouse 14.5. open tournament in active chess The city of Hradec Kralove is a regional city with nearly 100 000 inhabitants situated at the confluence of the Labe and Orlice rivers. There are a lot of historical sights, a planetarium and a giant aquarium.
