Bratislava (SVK), 3rd Easter Tournament for the Chess Hopes
Tournament A Participants : born 1996 or younger (rating should not overstep 1550) Playing system : Open rapid, 9 rounds Rate of games : 2 x 15 minutes per game (without record of games) Tournament A is Rapid Chess Championship of the Region of Bratislava under 10 and 14 and is included to GRAND PRIX for youth 2009/10. Tournament B Participants : born 1992 or younger (without rating limit) Playing system : Open rapid, 7 rounds Rate of games : 2 x 20 minutes per game (without record of games) Tournament B is Rapid Chess Championship of the Region of Bratislava under 18. For both tournaments : Place : Building Doprastav a.s., Drieňová 27, Bratislava (for the map type street with number, city on the website www.mapy.sk) Date : 10th of April 2010 (Saturday) Presentation : 10th of April from 830 to 900. Tournaments start at 915, finish is assumed about 1600. Fee : 0,- € Refreshment : players will be served with small refreshment and beverage Internet : www.skdps.com Prices : Cups, books, toys, etc.. Every player gets something. Tiebreaks : 1. number of points 2. Bucholz 3. progres 4. best result from relative games 5. lot Attention : Capacity of playing room is 90 players. Sooner registered players have the priority. Registrations : until 6th of April 2010. To registration fill the name, date of birth, club and national rating (if you have). Later registered player will have to pay additional fee 1€.

The championship will be played in Swiss system, IX rounds. The event will be in 3 groups according to ELO rating: A Group over 1900 (40 moves/1,5h + 0,5h + 30sec. increments from one move), B Group between 1601 – 1900 (40 moves/1,5h + 0,5h + 30sec. increments from one move), C Group below 1600 (30 move/1,5 h + 1 h to end). The total prize fund in the amount of 13000 PLN (4250 euro). On 2 May is rapid chess tournament. Excursions to Cracow.
